About Teal Plumbing
Teal Plumbing is owned by Andrew Teal, a master plumber licensed in Maryland and Delaware with about 17 years in the trade. He has lived on the Shore since 1999, graduated from Stephen Decatur High School, and trained at Worcester Technical High School before spending 15 years with another local plumbing company.
He started Teal Plumbing to do it differently: honest pricing, quality parts, and real customer service, all at once. When you call, Andrew answers. He'll walk you through simple fixes over the phone, explain everything before work begins, and tag your shutoff valves so you're never guessing which one to turn.
We come out and look at no charge. Then you decide.

Reviews
Don't just take our word for it. Here's what Delmarva homeowners and businesses say about Teal Plumbing.
I called Teal Plumbing and spoke with Andrew, the owner and a licensed master plumber. I asked him to provide an estimate, and he came by the next day to assess the work. He explained what was needed, offered a very reasonable price, and answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly. Andrew returned the following day and did an outstanding job on the repairs. I highly recommend Teal Plumbing for any plumbing needs.
Andrew replaced my water heater and did an A++ job ! It wasn't an ordinary replacement, it was under my house in a partial basement. He had to remove the door to get the old one out and the new one in. He did an amazing job ! The price he gave me was what he charged me. No extras ! He came when he said he would. He cleaned up perfectly. I highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs !
My toilet was leaking. I called Teal Plumbing, who was recommended on the Salisbury, MD Facebook group. They responded quickly. He pulled the toilet, removed the damaged laminate flooring, replaced the wax seal and got it seated correctly, and put the toilet back. He cleaned the whole area and took the damaged flooring with him to dispose of it. I am thrilled that everything was taken care of and I have my bathroom back. I highly recommend Teal Plumbing! Thank you Teal Plumbing!!!

FAQ
Straight answers to what people ask before they call. Don't see yours? Andrew answers the phone himself.
No. Teal Plumbing offers free on-site estimates. Many companies charge a trip or diagnostic fee, often somewhere between $59 and $179, just to show up. Andrew comes out, looks at what is going on, explains what it will take to fix it, and gives you a price. The choice is yours from there, and there is no fee either way.
The price you approve is the price you pay. Teal's plumbers are paid hourly, not on commission, so there's no reason to pad a quote or push extra work. Before anything starts, Andrew walks you through the full scope and cost. If a job looks like it will take longer than usual, you hear about it before you get the price, not on the invoice. Teal also absorbs credit card processing fees instead of adding them to your bill.
Yes. Plumbing repairs come with a two-year warranty, and water heaters come with a two-year parts and labor warranty. Your exact coverage is written on your estimate or invoice, so you know what's covered before work begins. Some work, like drain cleaning, temporary repairs, and connections to certain existing piping, can have exclusions, and manufacturer warranties may apply separately. If something isn't right, you reach the same person who did the work.
Yes. When you call Teal, you reach Andrew, a licensed Master Plumber, not a call center or an automated scheduler. He answers his own phone because he likes explaining things and helping you figure out what's going on. Often he can walk you through a safe first step, like shutting off the water, before he comes out. If he's in the middle of a job, he gets back to you as soon as he's off it.
Yes. Teal Plumbing is licensed and insured. Andrew is a Master Plumber in both Maryland and Delaware and holds backflow certification in both states. That matters most on the bigger jobs, like water heaters, gas lines, and well systems, where you want the work done to code by someone who is accountable for it. You're hiring a licensed master, not a handyman learning on your house.
It depends on where you are and what's going on. For anything urgent, call 443-669-7115 so Andrew can talk through the problem and give you the earliest available appointment. Teal's hours are Mon–Sat 8 AM–4 PM. If you see an active leak, shut off your main water supply if you can reach it safely. Customers often mention he came out the next day or within the same week.
Teal is based in Hebron, just outside Salisbury, and serves Wicomico County and Worcester County in Maryland and Sussex County in Delaware. That includes Salisbury, Hebron, Delmar, Ocean City, Berlin, Millsboro, Dagsboro, Georgetown, and the communities around them. If you're near the edge of the area, call to confirm Andrew can get to your address.
In most cases, yes. Teal installs many fixtures and pieces of equipment you've already bought, as long as they're compatible with your plumbing and in good condition. The one exception is gas: Teal does not install customer-supplied gas piping or fittings. Your estimate explains how the warranty works for equipment you supplied, since the manufacturer's coverage may differ from Teal's.
Yes. Teal flushes and services water heaters and maintains well systems with chlorination and flushing. To stay ahead of problems, the Keep It Flowing Membership is Andrew's maintenance plan: a yearly whole-home plumbing inspection, a water heater safety inspection, priority scheduling, and 10% off repairs, for $7.99/month or $95.88/year. You schedule your inspection whenever it suits you.
See the Keep It Flowing MembershipNo. Teal Plumbing doesn't pump septic tanks, replace tanks, or work on drain fields, so for pumping you'll want a septic company. What Teal does handle is the plumbing side of a septic system: repairing and replacing the pumps inside the tank and ejector pumps, and clearing clogged baffles so everything flows the way it should. Not sure which kind of problem you have? Describe what's happening and Andrew will tell you honestly whether it's a job for Teal.
